Betty M. Bicksler, 79, of Upper Tulpehocken Twp., passed away Sept. 1, 2011, of natural causes at her sister Dorothy's residence in Tulpehocken Twp.
She was the wife of Kenneth R. Bicksler.
Born in North Heidelberg Twp., she was the daughter of the late Thomas C. Lutz Jr. and Elsie M. (Kintzer) Lutz.
Betty was employed in housekeeping at Wernersville State Hospital for 29 years until retirement.
She was a member of St. Paul's U.C.C. in New Schaefferstown.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Carol A. Boyer, Tulpehocken Twp.; two sons: Floyd E. Bicksler, and his wife, Linda, Tulpehocken Twp., and Thomas C. Bicksler, Upper Tulpehocken Twp.; a sister, Dorothy A. Bicksler, Tulpehocken Twp.; three grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was also predeceased by a brother, William Lutz.
Services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 am at Lamm & Witman Funeral Home Inc., Wernersville, with Pastor Krista Keisling officiating.
Interment will be at Heidelberg Cemetery, Robesonia.
Friends are invited to call Monday 7:00 to 8:30 pm at the funeral home.
