BATH - Funeral services were held at 2 pm today at the Seager-Jones Funeral Home for Fletcher W. Hough, 74, of 40 Denwood Terr. He died Friday Feb. 19, 1982 at his home after a long illness. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Bath Ambulance Corps. Burial will be in Hope cemetery, Campbell. A native of Campbell he spent all his life in Bath and for 54 years was employed by the W.W. Babcok Ladder Co., retiring in 1979. He was well known as a violinist, playing in several area bands for 60 years. Surviving are his wife Grace; four sons Laverne, and Lyle Hough of Bath, Eldon Hough of Hammondsport and William Hough of Prattsburgh; three daughters Mrs. George (Norma) Puffer of Liverpool, NY, Mrs. Milford (Arlene) Buckley of Horseheads and Linda Buono of Pine City and a stepdaughter Evalena Boonie of Corning. Also surviving are 25 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and a brother, Raymond Hough. Another son, Fremond Hough predeceased him.
