POLSON - Grover T. Mobley, 88, of Orange, California, died Tuesday in St. Joseph Hospital in Polson. Mr. Mobley had been visiting relatives in the Hot Springs area when he became ill.
was born July 26, 1888 at Salem, Nebraska, where he grew up and attended schools. He was married June 11, 1913 at Fairbury, Nebraska. His wife, Katherine died in 1951.
Mr. Mobley was a beekeeper for many years in Idaho and in California. He served as a county commissioner in Jefferson County, Idaho. He was on the board of directors of the canal board and was a former school trustee on the Clark School Board in Idaho.
Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Morgan, Hot Springs; a son, Keith Mobley, Orange, California, 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
