She was born November 21, 1922 in Popular Bluff, Missouri. She was a homemaker and helped for her husband on his long distance 18 wheeler routes. She had been in every state except for Maine. She was a Baptist.
Mrs. Thomasson was preceded in death by her parents, Archibald and Nellie Flowers Helvey; her husband, Fray Thomasson; two brothers, Jack and Floyd Helvey and two infant brothers.
She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Thomasson will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 3, 2011 in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel in Dierks with Bro. Raymond Dees officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Newhope.
