Son of Harry James and Mina Bushman Campbell. He was one of six siblings.

Husband of Mary Lou Brown Campbell.

Father of Robert Wayne Campbell (predeceased in 2005), Janet Lynn Jones, Jane Carol Campbell, and Sandra Lee Allen.

He served in the United States Army during WWII and was stationed in North Africa and Italy.

Mr. Campbell worked for Kraft General Foods for 45 years in LeRoy, New York and transferred to Dover in 1964.

He volunteered at Delaware Blood Bank and enjoyed Modern Maturity delivering Meals on Wheels. Mr. Campbell was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Dover.

He enjoyed camping and traveling with his family, they had traveled to 46 states.

Mr. Campbell enjoyed watching John Wayne movies and baseball especially the Philadelphia Phillies. He loved and adored his wife Mary Lou and even designed and built their house in LeRoy with the help of his wife, it was a four bedroom with a basement and a large workshop connected to the two car garage.
