Died at his residence in Washington township, Tuesday September 7, of typho-malarial fever, Frederick Kasting, age 49 years. He was born in the Kingdom of Hanover, Germany, the son of Garrett H. Kasting, now an old and honored resident of Seymour, and came to this country with his parents at the age of 3. The family first settled in Cincinnati, where they remained but a few months and then removed to a farm in Washington township adjoining the farm owned by Mr. Kasting at the time of his death. Deceased was married 3 times and been blessed with 2 sons and 3 daughters, who with their mother, survive him.
