Death of J.A. Hashinger.
Mr. J.A. Hashinger, whose removal to Kansas sometime ago was told of in REPOSITORY at the time, died in Kansas City, Missouri, on Friday. Mr. Hashinger had been principal of the Mercersburg schools from 1881 to 1884, and had many friends in that place during his stay there.

Mr. J.A. Hashinger, formerly of this county, where he had many friends, died at his more recent home in Kansas City, Missouri, last Friday. Mr. Hashinger was a gentleman of much ability and a teacher by profession. He was Principal of the Mercersburg schools from 1881 to 1884, but was obliged to resign his position as such because of impaired health, for which he sought relief by a change of climate. His numerous friends in this county will be sorry to learn of death.
