The funeral services of Colonel George H. Hamblen were held yesterday morning at 10 o'clock from Stine's undertaking rooms. Rev. Dr. Cromer officiated. Members of the A.O.U.W., I.O.O.F., and Masonic orders, of which Colonel Hamblen was a member, attended the services. The pallbearers were G. W. Rowley, Dr. B. F. Nofsinger, Fred W. Averill, W. F. Henry, W. T. Singleton and St. Elmo Saunders. Burial was in Union cemetery. A widow survives him.
