IDA B. WEYANDT, of Claysburg RD, died at 11:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, 1978, in Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring, following a brief illness.
She was born April 4, 1894, at Claysburg RD, a daughter of Abraham and Rebecca (Fry) Dively, and on Feb. 19, 1911, in Claysburg, married William Weyandt, who died Nov. 8, 1959.
Surviving are 14 children, Mrs. Edna Brown of Grambrills, Md., Allen and Mrs. Catherine Palmer of Duncansville, Mrs. Florence Brown of Altoona, Mrs. Dora Claar of Petersburg, Mrs. Gladys Ake of New Paris, Mrs. Alice Ake of Osterburg, Mrs. Mary Ott of Martinsburg, Mrs. Mazie Brown, Mrs. Louise Cavender, Mark and Michael of Claysburg and Roy and Celia, at home; 26 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Weyandt was a member of the Claysburg Church of God.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the Marvin C. Leslie Funeral Home, Claysburg, and 1 to 2 p.m. Monday in the Claysburg Church of God.
