Died at age 65 at the Theda Clark Hospital after a lingering illness. He worked for Marathon Division of American Can Company for more than 37 years and retired in 1962. He was a member of St. Patrick Church and he was a World War I Veteran.
Survived by his wife, Malinda; three sons, Harold, Robert and Donald, all of Neenah; five sisters, Mrs. Olive Newman of Seattle, Washington; Mrs. Ralph Leininger of Milwaukee; Mrs. Beatrice Christensen of Gillett; Mrs. George Haum and Mrs. Alvin Williequette, both of Green Bay; and 12 grandchildren.

Son of Michael Hackstock and Elizabeth (Shmidt) Hackstock, according to Wisconsin Births.
