CONWAY _ Sudie Orilla Stalvey, 86, wife of the late Joseph Raudy Stalvey of the Hickory Grove community, died Sunday, Nov. 15, 1998, in Kingston Nursing Center after an illness. Born in Horry County, she was a daughter of the late Avery Lawson and Mary Frances Boyd Todd. She was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Joseph Henry Stalvey of McAlpin, Fla., William Raudy Stalvey of Live Oak, Fla., and D.L. Stalvey of Conway; three daughters, Eula V. Cox, Mary Lee Patterson and Sudie Carolyn ``Carol Sue'' Faulk, all of Conway; 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; and six stepgreat-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7-9 tonight at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway chapel. The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hickory Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be in Grainger Cemetery.
