Viola Aron, 87, died on June 14, 1995 in Wilber.

She was born to William and Emma Kattau on January 30, 1908 southeast of Crete in the Kramer vicinity. Her grandparents were of German descent and donated the land for the town of Kramer, the local Methodist Episcopal Church, and the railroad. She married B. Franklin Aron on March 22, 1930. They had two daughters. Franklin was a banker in Crete. Viola worked as a secretary for Doane College and the Crete School system. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and Eastern Star.

She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Marlene and Jack Pulec of Los Angeles, Diane and Donald Luenenberg of Yuba City, California; grandchildren, Marilyn McKeon, Jeff Luenenberg, Tracy Titus, Wendy Harvey; great-granddaughter, Leah Titus; sister and brother-in-law, Mildred and Karl Kubes of Crete.

Funeral services were held June 17 at Kuncl Funeral Home with the Rev. David McCreary officiating. Soloist was Marilyn Kuncl accompanied by Pat Butt. Services were by Eastern Star #104. Interment was at Riverside Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jerald Pomajzl, Robert Burdick, Robert Malone, Michael Stehlik, Adolph Novak, and Duane Novak.
