GEORGE KING CUSHING, b.11/1806, So.Scituate (Norwell), MA, d.2/2/1898, So.Scituate (Norwell), MA, a son of GEORGE CUSHING, JR. and NANCY (CUSHING) of So.Scituate (Norwell), MA, and paternal great grandson of Hon. Joseph Cushing and Lydia (King) of Scituate and Hanover, MA. George and Nancy were cousins. In 10/1832 in Boston, MA George m: LUCRETIA (BEAN), b.1807, Deerfield, NH, d.1851, So.Scituate (Norwell), MA, a daughter of Benjamin Bean and Sarah "Sally" (Dearborn) of Deerfield, NH. George and Lucretia had children born in Boston where they resided, George a construction carpenter. After Lucretia's death, he removed back to So.Scituate (Norwell), where he lived/cared for his parents until their deaths).
