Brian K. Locke, 28, of Syracuse, died Thursday at his home. Brian was employed as a carpenter. He enjoyed woodworking and was an avid outdoorsman. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Patricia and Joseph Swieck; his father, Kenneth Locke; two brothers, Donald Locke, and his wife, Jennifer, and Corey Locke; two sisters, Jennifer Hart and Joyce Rafuse all of Syracuse and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home, 1604 Grant Blvd., Syracuse. Services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, following calling hours. Private burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation of C.N.Y.
