Services for Raymond I. Campbell, age 60 of Blair, who died October 23, 1993 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 26, at the First Christian Church in Blair. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.
Raymond I. Campbell was born February 9, 1933 at Tekamah, Nebraska to Milford and Luzetta Metzler Campbell. He moved to Blair as an infant and spent the rest of his life in Blair.
He served in the Army from 1953 to 1955.
On December 21, 1955, he married Ruby Burgen in Tekamah. He worked for Fruehauf in Omaha from 1956 to 1990, retiring due to health problems.
He was a member of the Blair American Legion, Union Local No. 699 and the North American Hunters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Bob and one brother.
Surviving are his wife, Ruby; son, Bill of Blair; daughters and son-in-law, Kathy and Jim Chadek of Arlington, Nebraska and Barbie and Gary Reynolds of Kennard, Nebraska; three grandchildren; one brother, Melvin of Blair and one sister, Shirley Knight of Blair.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
