OBITUARY WILBUR F. CARMICHAEL - PARKESBURG, Feb 20 - Wilbur F. Carmichael 80, of 804 17th St Vienna, died at 4 a.m. Saturday in a local hospital following several years of ill health.
Born in Tyler County (West Virginia) he was the son of the late David and Nancy Locke Carmichael. He had resided in Vienna for the past 45 years.
He was a prominent businessman in Parkesburg prior to his retirement.
During his earlier life he was engaged in the lumber business and later operated the Carmichael Wholesale Candy Co. in this city. He also operated the Oldsmobile agency.
Surviors included two daughters, Mrs. Ray M.(Mable) Lang pf Vienna, Mes. Ray(Alice) Williams of Wolfe Summit: on son David M. Carmichaael of Beaumont, Texas, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
