Obituary - Mrs. Inez Martin Carmichael, 67, resident of Wartnmore Av., Vienna, died yesterday at 5 s.m. in St. Joeph's hosital following an extended illness of three years. She was the daughter of the late Sidney and Sophia Jane Martin.
Mrs. Carmichael was born at Shiloh, Tyler County, and formerly resided in Clarksburg. She came to Parkersburgh to make her home in 1920. She was a member of the First Christian church.
Surviving are her husband, W.F. Carmichael, two step-daughters, Mrs. Roy Lang of Parkersburg and Mrs. R.A. Williams of Wolf Summit; one step--son, David Carmichael of Waco, Tex.; one brother, Dr. J.E. Martin, Sr., of Elkins, and seven grandchildren.
The body was removed to the Leavitt funeral home and will be taken to the family residence today at 3 p.m.
Funeral services for Mrs. Inez Carmichael, who died Thursday afternoon, will be held from the residence at Warthmore Av. in Vienna, Saturday at 11 a.m., with the Rev. T.B. Turley officiating. Immediately following the service, the body will be taken to the Elkview Masonic cemetery at Clarksburg, for buria. There will be a shor service at the grave at 3:30 p.m. The Leavitt funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
