Luella Johnson, 75, of R.D. 1, Potsdam, died Saturday (June 5, 1982) at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
Mrs. Johnson was born Oct. 22,1906 in Farnsport, Ontario, daughter of William and Bertha Copa Hayes. She married John W. Johnson on March 10, 1924 in Cornwall, Ontario. Mr. Johnson died Nov. 8,1968. Mrs. Johnson had worked at
Morey's Bakery in Potsdam, and was a waitress for the Potsdam Coffee and the Vernon Restaurant in Potsdam.
Surviving are nine sons, Harold, Albert, and Donald of Potsdam; John of Vermont; Robert of Norwood; Alton of Winthrop; Wayne of Lawrenceville; Ralph of Hannawa Falls; and Ronald of Massena; four daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Marjorie) Carter of North Carolina;, Mrs. Gordon (Annie) Wells of Syracuse; Mrs. Douglas (Nettie) Mark of Ontario; and Patricia Johnson of Potsdam; and 28grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery in North Lawrence.
