Dr. Emmett Larabee Robinson was born on Jan. 16, 1851 in Brookville, Iowa to Sawyer and Leah Robinson. He was baptized by his uncle, Rev. Richard S.Robinson on June 16, 1859. He graduated from Keokuk Iowa College of Medicine in June 1878. He was a physician and pharmacist in Central NE for 42 yrs. He married Anna Harris on Sept. 3,1879 and they had 4 children. They took in Tinley Combs after his sister Mary Elizabeth and Andrew J. Combs both died of TB in 1878.
He retired in 1922 and moved to Lincoln, NE in 1926. He died in Lincoln on April 9, 1933 and is buried there.
