Rutherfordton, NC - Henry Reuben Worsham died on Sunday, Oct. 17, 1993, at his residence. Native of North Carolina and widower of Catherine Watson Worsham. Son of the late Jefferson W. and Stella Brooks Worsham and a retired sawmill worker. Served in the 381st Infantry of the U. S. Army in World War II. Received four bronze service stars and a purple heart. Fought in the Campaigns in Normandy, Ardennes, the Rhineland and the Central Europe. Survivors included: four sons; three daughters; one brother, Tommy Worshan of Denver, Colorado; three sisters, Viegie Harris of Rutherfordton, NC, Margaret Lawing of Nebo, NC and Annie Lee Taylor of Shalimar, of Florida; 12 grandchildren.
