Woodrow Smith at the age of 76, passed away on August 18, 2005 in the Utah Valley Hospital, Provo,Utah, after his struggle with Alzheimer's and pneumonia. He was born May 11, 1929 in American Fork to Alma Arnold and Amy Irene Scoggins Smith. He spent most of his life in the American Fork and Pleasant Grove. Woodrow served in the Korean War stationed at the Atom Bomb Site in Southern Utah. He worked for Geneva Steel for 32 years retiring in 1984. He married Feb 16, 1963. He is survived by his wife, 1 daughter 1 grandson , 2 sisters, He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters Romona Irene Smith (1933 - 1957),Iva Louise Smith (1936 - 1984) and 2 brothers Forrest Lot (Lott) Smith (1926 - 1962),Oliver George Smith (1920 - 1971).Funeral services where held Tuesday, Aug 23,2005 at 12 noon in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 E 100 N, American Fork. There was a viewing prior to the funeral. Interment was at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Pleasant Grove,Utah,Utah Plot E-03-012-08
