Violet E. LaCosse, age 85, of Fair Oaks, IN passed away Saturday August 27, 2011 at Brook Heath Care. Violet was born on April 14, 1926 in Gifford, IN to the late Charles E. And Stella A, nee Nuss Snow. Violet had lived in Gifford and Roselawn, IN and had been a resident of Fair Oaks since 1949. On July 6, 1945 in Rensselaer, IN she married William LaCosse who survives. She attended Gifford Schools. She was a loving mother and a devoted wife. Violet was a member of the Gifford Church of GOD. Violet is survived by; her loving husband, William LaCosse, two sons, William "Bill" LaCosse , Jr. of Rensselaer, Lawrence ‘Larry" (Sue) LaCosse of Fair Oaks, IN, one daughter, Vicki (Alan) Robison of Fair Oaks, her best friend for over fifty years Lucille (John) Lynch, 12 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 7 great- great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Violet is preceded in death by, her parents, one daughter, Julie Ann, one daughter in law, Walker Sue LaCosse, 6 sisters and 3 brothers. One great- grandson Trevor Johnson, one great- granddaughter Haile Castle.
