GEORGIA E (THOMPSON) TEFERTILLER, a resident of Snyder since 1951, died Monday, October 6, 2003 in the Cogdell Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Funeral service for Mrs. Tefertiller, 86, is set for 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Miller Robinson, retired minister, officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillside Memorial Gardens.

Born October 16, 1916 in Flora, Illinois. She married Carl "Red" Tefertiller on Jan 16, 1941 in Clayton, Missouri.

They lived in Salem, Ill. and Mr. Tefertiller enlisted in the Navy Seabees. In 1946, the Navy transferred him to providence,RI and Mrs Tefertiller worked in a defense Plant.

The family was transferred by Mobil Oil Co. in 1951 and Mrs. Tefertiller was employed by
Sears in Snyder for 21 years.

A homemaker Mrs. Tefertiller was a member of the Colonial Hill Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher and active in children and youth activities for many years as well as the church builders organization.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and four brothers. Survivors include her husband, Carl "Red"
Tefertiller of Snyder and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Snyder,1500 28th St., or to Cogdell Hospital Foundation, 1700 Cogdell Avenue.
