EARL WARREN HOLLOPETER, 89, of Marion, died Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011, 11:22 a.m., at his residence. Born in New Haven, Ind., he was the son of the late Lewis and Emma (Martin) Hollopeter. He was a World War II United States Army/Air Corp Veteran, serving in England and Scotland. He also served with the United States Air Force in Japan and Korea during the Korean War. He was the former President of the Fort Wayne Chapter of National Association of Accountants. He also volunteered for Junior Achievement. Surviving are daughters, Diana K. (Philip) Ainslie of Belton, Texas and Sue E. (Gus) Hiller of Rome, Ga.; brothers, Willard Hollopeter of Albion, Ind. and Lloyd (Bonnie) Holt of Marion, Ind.; grandchildren, Mariah and Miquela Hiller and Paul and Glenn Ainslie; and five great-grandchildren.Graveside service is 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 29, 2011 at Marion National Cemetery, 1700 E. 38th St., Marion, Ind.
