Anna Perry Hanley, 62, of Mashoes, died Thursday, Ocotber 21, 2010, in a Chesapeake, Va hospital.
Mrs. Hanley was born in Edenton, NC and was retired from Wachovia Bank.
Mrs. Hanley worked in customer service and was an assistant branch manager, working with The Mall Bank, First Union and Jefferson National Bank. She loved animals and the beach.
She was the daughter of the late Merrill Twine and Betty Cobb Perry and was the wife of William Edward Hanley, Jr. of the home.
In addition to her husband surviving are her step-son, Chris Hanley of Whitestone, Va; her sister, Pamela Perry Weyant of Nags Head and her brother, Merrill Twine Perry, II of Edenton; two step-grandchildren, Ethan and Catherine Hanley and nieces Jamie East of Barco and Lauren Williams of Edenton and one great-nephew, Ethan East.
A celebration of life will be in Twiford's Colony Chapel, Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Ken Simpson. Twiford Funeral Homes' Colony Chapel, Manteo, NC is assisting the family with arrangements.
