Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the Alma Lohmeyer chapel for James Wiley Owens,78, retired farmer who died in his home at 500 North Fremont after a long illness.Burial will be in the Dodson Cemetery.
Survivors are his wife,Mrs Cordelia Owens, five sons, Lon, John, Charley, Hanley & George Owens of Springfield; five daughters, Miss Ethel Owens of the home, Mrs Lulu Malecoat,Mrs Blanche Robertson,& Mrs Ray Floyd of Springfield and Mrs Julia Malecoat of Turner
