Leo John (Bud) Gilroy, 83 of Temecula, California passed into eternity at Fallbrook Hospital on November 11, 2010.

Bud was born on April 6, 1927 in Anaconda, Montana to Ann Clinton and Leo John Gilroy. Bud was very patriotic and proud to have served in the Navy in WW2.

After a very successful career in the automotive aftermarket, Bud retired in 1984 as Vice President of Marketing for KD Automotive Tools.

His passion for automobiles and the art of restoring was well known. Bud founded Temecula Valley Car Club and is a member of the Palomar Mountain V8 Club. He restored numerous cars and won many national awards. He was an usher captain at St. Catherine’s and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Proceeding him in death are his mother, father, younger sister Annabelle and son Fr. Gregory.

Bud is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marjorie, Son John Ross and Pamela, (Saline Michigan) Son, William Edward and Hannah, (Tahiti FP) Son Thomas Michael, (Temecula) Grandchildren, John Jr., Matai, Michael, Bud Jr., Cassandra. Great-Grandchildren, Emily, John III, Kiara, Hailley, Meghan and Talay.
