Hazel Southwick died on Saturday, January 21 at the Madonna Towers where she had been a patient for the past ten days. She had been terminally ill for the past year.
Hazel was born in Adams, Mn. on January 17, 1911. She married Elwyn Southwick on November 1, 1931 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Ia. They made their home in Rochester.
Hazel is survived by her husband, Elwyn; a son, Gary Southwick, Rochester; two daughters, Janis Kaump, Rochester and Mrs. James (Marcia) Hensley, Titonka, Ia.; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; four sisters, Mrs. R.P. (Norma) Meyers, Minneapolis, Mn., Mrs. Elgie (Vera) Aker, Cedar Rapids, Ia., Mrs. Herb (Margie) Osmundson and Mrs. Lelenn (Lois) Osmundson, both of Adams, Mn.
