Giles Chadwick "Mac" McADAMS

ODESSA - Giles Chadwick "Mac" McADAMS, 89 of Odessa passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2003, at Parks Methodist Retirement Village. He was born December 15, 1913, to B. H. and Frances McADAMS in San Antonio. He married Elma BUSH March 15, 1935, in Lawn, Texas. He began working for Phillips Petroleum Co. October 3, 1938 in Hobbs, N. M. He retired after 40 years of service.

Mr. McADAMS was preceded in death by two sons, Charles Benjamin McADAMS, born June 26, 1939, in Santa Anna, Texas, and Giles Rodney McADAMS, born Sept. 29, 1943, in Crane.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Elma of Odessa; granddaughters, Frances JORDAN of Fort worth, Paige TORBETT and husband Chris of Irving, Texas, Tana McADAMS of Flagstaff, Ariz., Michele BARROW and husband Brandon of Midland; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will beet with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2003, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Curtis BREWER officiating. Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. at the Dewey Cemetery in Lawn, Texas.

Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
