Rev. Vernon K. Billington, 91, son of Calvin and Desaree Bilington, was preceded in death by daughter, Carol Krehbiel and is survived by his wife Lillie Hazel of almost 63 years; two daughters, Linda (Wayne) Hyder and Joy (Bill) Logan; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He graduated from Moody Bible Institute and was in the ministry 46 years, serving in 4 churches. He taught at the Cleveland Bible Institute and served on the council of several Baptist organizations. After retiring he moved to Maranatha Village and served as a deacon and Sunday School Teacher at Maranatha Baptist Church. Burial at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
