Fred Spadi was born 1864 in Norka Russia and died in 1932 in Colorado He married Christina Schwindt, daughter of Martin Schwindt and Katherine Elizabeth Lehl, in Norka, Russia. They came to the USA in 1911. He was a shoe-maker by trade and is also buried in the Riverside Cemetery in Fort Morgan, Colorado.

Their union was blessed with two sons and three daughters:
Margaret (2/15/1886 - 2/23/1963) - Albert Klotz
Henry (11/6/1887 - 1/28/1947)
Phillip (11/23/1894)
Elizabeth (6/24/1896) - Henry Debus
