Worthy Dale Arrant, 64 of Newton, Texas died on August 24, 2011 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston.

He was born on November 23, 1946 in Newton, Texas and had lived in Newton County most of his life.

He was a piano tuner and minister and started Faith Worship Center several years ago.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Arrant of Newton, step-mother, Paula Arrant of Newton, sons, W. D. Arrant Jr. and Walter Dean Arrant and wife, Heather both of Newton, daughter, Danette Arrant of Cut Off, Louisiana, step-son, Stephen Harper and wife, Amanda of Jacksonville, Florida, step-daughter, Pamela Allen and husband, Mike of Ft. Worth, Texas, brothers, James Delton Arrant, Doyle Ray Arrant and wife, Juanita and Donnie Arrant and wife, Irene, sisters, DeeDee Arrant Cobb and husband, Lance and Delia Arrant, sister-in-law, Dena Arrant, twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, R V Love Arrant, father, W. B. Arrant and brother, Doug Arrant (FAG memorial #67662502).

Funeral services will be on Monday, Aug. 29, 2011 at 10am at Faith Worship Center with burial to follow at Sand Ridge Cemetery in Newton County.
