Funeral service for Sheila Diane Waddell, 44, of Decatur will be Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Waddell, who died Friday, August 26, 2011, in an automobile accident, was born May 10, 1967, in Decatur to the late Ruben Edward Collins and Brenda Faye Glenn Collins. She was employed by Sexton Can Co. for the past 17 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved spoiling her two grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff Waddell; two sons, Daniel Wayne Hardy and Kenneth Edward Hardy, and her daughter, Amanda Diane Hardy, all of Decatur; two sisters, Angie Fagan of Trinity and Linda Lawrence of Danville; her granddaughter, Kaylee Hardy and grandson, Hunter Wayne Hardy, both of Decatur.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Lawrence, Kenny Hardy, Daniel Hardy, Kevin Sapp, Daniel Tucker and Jamie Tucker.
