CHESTER C. HORNED [sic].
Edina, Mo., Jan. 11.—Chester C. Harned, 81, formerly of Rutledge, died Sunday morning at 8:30 in his home at Granger, where he had lived six years.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 in the Hudson-Rimer funeral home here, in charge of the Rev. Earl Hess of Granger. Burial will be in Pauline cemetery at Rutledge.
Mr. Harned was born near Unionville Nov. 9, 1878 [sic], a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Winfield Harned. He was twice married. His first marriage was to Maude E. Ripperdan on Sept. 15, 1901. She died in 1952. He was married to Mrs. Nina Printy Aug. 5, 1953. He was preceded in death by a daughter, two sisters and two brothers.
Surviving are his widow; a sister, Mrs. Cassie Beach of Arcadia, Cal.; two granddaughters, Mrs. Paul (Darlene) Gunnell of near Downing and Mrs. Paul (Donna) Jones of Memphis, and four great-grandchildren.
