Rebecca Humphrey was the daughter of Owen Humphrey of Llwyn-du, Wales. and his wife Jane. Rebecca was descended from Royalty. Robert married Rebecca Humphrey, daugher of Owen and Jane Humphrey on January 11, 1678 in Llangelynin Parish, Merionethshire, Wales, England. Robert and Rebecca came to America on a William Penn voyage in 1690.
