Virjean F. Ebertsch-Mathews (nee Lauby) died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008, at age 73, at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc. She was born Aug. 3, 1934, in Marshfield. Virjean was the beloved daughter of Florence and the late Leander Lauby; the beloved wife of the late Martin Ebertsch and the late Edwin Mathews; the dear mother of Dr. Edwin (Dawn) Mathews, Stephanie (Jeff) Seitz and John Mathews; and stepmother of Judy (Mike) Blake. She also had sixteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Virjean is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the noon funeral service Saturday, Jan. 19, at Wisconsin Memorial Park Chapel of the Chimes, 13235 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield. Entombment will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
