At the residence of her son J. Plumer Jack, in this borough on the morning of the 8th inst., Mrs Sarah W. Jack, aged eighty-four years, eleven months and eighteen days.
Mrs. Jack was the youngest daughter of Mr. Jonathan Plumer of Westmoreland county, PA. The family was distinguished for moral and mental worth, and was of Presbyterian extraction. Hoh. George Plumer was one of her brothers as was also Mr William Plumer, father of Rev. Wm. S. Plumer, E.D. of the Western Theological Seminary. Mrs. Jack was from her youth a consistent christian, and she died in hope of a blessed immortality.
