She married Jack P Williams on Aug. 30 1940, in California. They lived in California until 1947 then moved back home to Greenville. They raised five children. Mom was an immaculate housekeeper and was a prim and proper lady always looking her best. She taught and wanted her children to do their best. She was an excellent cook and always had homemade goodies on hand. She worked at Lund's Department Store for many years where she was a friend to many people. She and Jack owned and operated Jack's Motel and Service Station for several years. She worked for the US Forest Service for several years after retirement.
Helen was an active member of the LDS church and held many positions. She was a member of the Utah Daughters of pioneers and was a member of the singing group called The Delano Diamonds. She was a member of BPW and was chosen as Woman of the Year.
Jack passed away July 10, 1983 from heart problems. Helen married Ual Marshall Dec 4, 1993 in the Provo Temple. During that time she and Ual traveled and enjoyed the mountains and together served a mission at Cove Fort. They were good companions. Ual died in Beaver Feb 11, 2007.
She is survived by her children, JoAnn (Orson) Blackner, Greenville, UT; Geraldene (Dale) Bettridge, Parowan, UT; Connie(Ray) Fails, Les (Bonnie) Williams, and Bruce(Gena)Williams all of Beaver, UT. She has 20 grandchildren, 65 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both of her husbands, her parents, siblings, and grandsons Brett Williams and Delayne Fausett. Also great grandchildren, Traysen and Tayten Gale and Ellie and Emma Thomas.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday August 29, 2011 at the Beaver 4th ward chapel. A viewing will be held Sunday August 28, at the Southern Utah Mortuary in Beaver from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and then 1 hour prior to the funeral services at the Beaver 4th ward chapel. Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery in Beaver, UT all under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
