Buford Lee Anderson, 84, of Bending Chestnut, died Saturday, Oct. 12, at home. Mr. Anderson was a retired employee of CPS Industries and a member of Bending Chestnut Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Wayne Anderson of Franklin, Bobby Anderson of Hephzibah, Ga., and Clint Anderson of Nashville; two daughters, Faye Ladd and Pam Quirk, both of Franklin, three brothers, Bob Anderson of Brentwood, Roy Anderson of Nashville and Howard Anderson of Franklin: four sisters, Ethel Stinson, Obera Carroll and Alene Carroll, all of Nashville, and Irene Bowsher of Columbus, Ohio; 14 grand-children and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Monday, Oct. 14, with Gilbert Fox officiating. Burial followed at Garrison Cemetery. Active pallbearers were grandsons. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Bending Chestnut Community, Dr. Patrick Murphy and members of the Dan Rudy Cancer Center and Alive Hospice.
