MARTINEZ, Amador "Marty" of Williamstown on October 14, 2006 surrounded by his loving family in Pine Hill. Aged 69 years.

Born in Laredo, TX, Marty was a proud 15 year U.S. Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War, where he was wounded. He was highly decorated; being awarded the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star and Drill Sergeant Badge. Marty earned his B.S. in Accounting from Rutgers University in 1976. Before retiring in 1997, he worked as an accountant for the Department of Labor in Trenton for over 15 years. Marty was a member of American Legion Post #286, Pine Hill. He enjoyed bowling, going to the casinos, rooting for the Dallas Cowboys, working around his yard and especially spending time with his family. Marty will be fondly remembered for his generosity and big heart.

Marty is the beloved husband of 48 years to Kathleen M. "Beana" (Nee Jones), devoted father of Kathleen L. (Walter) Lafferty and Michael A. (Mari) Martinez, all of Williamstown, loving grandfather of Michael Warren Martinez, Amanda and Kyle Lafferty, Edwin, Timothy and Robert Newcomb, dear brother of Concepcion Gonzalez, Ana Carrillo, Ida Perez, Amparo Rendon and Adolfo.

Viewing Wed. 8:30-10 AM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 573 Egg Harbor Rd., Washington Twp., (Sewell). Funeral Mass Wed. 11 AM in St. Edward's RC Church, Pine Hill.

Interment Gloucester County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown, NJ.
