Son of John Yarrington and Rebecca McConnaughy.
Father of 11 children.

Nathan Yarrington served as a blacksmith in Co B 78th OVI in Civil War.

Transcription of the Last Will and Testament of Nathan Yarrington

" In the name of the Benevolent Father of All:
I Nathan Yarrington of the county of Jackson and State of Ohio do make and publish this my last will and testament.
Item 1st I give and devise to my wife Clarissa Yarrington in lieu of her dower the sum of One dollar.
Item 2nd I will and devise that whatever property I am possessed of at the time of my death to go to pay the expense of my sickness and funeral and the residue to be applied to the maintenance and support of my children.
Item 3rd I do hereby nominate and appoint my brother-in-law George Lynch guardian of my minor children James Yarrington, Jennie Yarrington and William Yarrington.
I do also hereby nominate and appoint the said George Lynch executor of this my last will and testament hereby authorizing him to compromise adjust release and discharge in such manner as he may deem proper the debts and claims due me.
I desire that no sale or appraisement of my personal property be made.

21st day of March in the year 1882 mark
