Our community was thrown in a pall of sorrow last Monday afternoon when the sad news arrived that our dear friend, Nathan Blassingame had died. Uncle Nate, as he was lovingly called, had spent most of his life here but had lived in Brownwood the past several years. He was born July 4, 1864.
