Ensign G. M. Williamson, USNRF, was designated Naval Aviator #477 in 1918. Later transferred to the Marine Corps Reserve with rank of 2nd Lt. Released from active service in 1919 and discharged in 1922.

Passed away in Presbyterian Hospital, having suffered a fatal stroke. A graduate of Pitt, was a teacher and athletic coach at the university.
