Donald Gordon Snell was born July 10, 1925, in East Wawanosh Township. During the mid to late 1930’s, Don and brother Jasper played softball for a local league, which included a team from Westfield. Donald was married September 4, 1948 in Blyth, Ontario, to Leona “Shirley” Radford. Shirley was born November 1, 1931 in Clinton, Ontario. Donald owned the farm at Lot 35 Concession 4. Donald later trained in the “Church of God” and became an ordained clergy. Donald and family settled in Alberta. notes.
