Son of Homer Clinton Smith, Sr.

"CLINT" Homer Clinton Smith, Jr., 76,of Wabasso, FL died August 26th at his home.

Mr. Smith was born October 10, 1928 in Fitzgerald, GA and had been a life long resident of Indian River County.

He served in the US Marine Corp Second Division during the Korean War and prior to retirement he worked in the citrus industry for many years.

He was a member the Sebastian Masonic Lodge and a 32nd Degree Mason. He was also a Shriner and member of the Scottish Rites Bodies of the Mahi Shrine Temple of Miami.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Dorothy A. Smith of Wabasso, FL; daughter, Grace Smith Watson (Mark)of Deland, FL; sons, Grover Smith (Debbie) of Vero Beach, FL., and David Smith (Cheryl)of Deland, FL. Mr. Smith also leaves five granddaughters , Summer, Holli, Brittney and Miranda Smith and Katelyn Watson. Also, a sister, Adrianna Piatt (Donald) of Orangeburg, SC., and an aunt, Hazel Harkins of Trumbull, CT.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 3rd at 2 PM at the Seawinds Funeral Home in Sebastian with Reverend Julia Shreeve of Christ The King Lutheran Church officiating and military honors provided by VFW Post 3918.

Contributions may be made to Cancer Research c/o the American Cancer Society, 1401 21st Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960. Arrangements are under the direction of Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, Sebastian, FL.
