Arthur Erwin Boggs, 84, of Memphis, retired railroad switchman for Missouri Pacific Railroad, died of heart failure Sunday, April 28, 1966, in Memphis.
Burial in Memory Hill Gardens.
He was a member of Willow Park Baptist Church and the Missouri Pacific Retirees Association.
Mr. Boggs, the husband of Margaret O. Boggs, also leaves a daughter, Mary Boggs Smith of Millington; three sons, Robert E. Boggs of Douglas AZ., Richard E. Boggs of Chattanooga, TN., and Thomas E. Boggs of Memphis; three sisters, Avis Harris of Augusta, AR., Viva Dee Thomas of McCrory, AR., and Velma Lee Dugger of Dardanville, AR.; a brother, Roger Boggs of Peoria, IL; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family requests that any memorials be sent to the charity of the donor's choice.
