He was a Plumber with Parks and Recreation. He was Baptist by faith, a Mason in Lantata, FL, and a member of the Scottish Rite Bodies of Lakeworth, FL.

a son, Dallas Beckett, Jr, of Crawfordville, FL;
a grandson, Dallas Jason Beckett of Tallahassee, FL;
a sister, Doris Eloise Hatfield of Huntington, WV;
