OSCAR CLAIR JACOBS, 78, a former resident of Cherry Tree and Pittsburgh, passed away on Friday, January 17, 1964 at his late residence, 201 Daytona Ave., Holly Hill, Florida.
A native of Cherry Tree, Mr. Jacobs moved to Florida from Pittsburgh 13 years ago. Prior to that time, he served as Pittsburgh branch manager for Goodall Rubber Co., Trenton, New Jersey.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jacobs; a daughter, Mrs. Edward C. Land, Bethel Park; a son, Edwin H. Jacobs, Pittsburgh; a sister, Mrs. J.W. Appleby, Harrisburg, and six grandchildren.
Interment was made in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, near Pittsburgh following funeral services in Holly Hill, Florida.
