William T. Ferkinhoff, 81, 620 5th Ave, SE, a retired mechanic, died Monday. He was born June 8, 1887 in Oldenburg, Ind., and has lived here 55 years. He married Cecelia Tille at St. Augustine's Church Feb. 1, 1921.
He was a mechanic for Tenvoorde Motor Co. until retiring in 1952.
Mr. Ferkinhoff is survived by his widow; children, Mrs. Francis (Bernadette) Joyce, Dorothy and Leo, St. Cloud; Theodore, Sauk Rapids; and Paul, Burbank, Calif,; 22 grandchildren; brother, Edward, Minneapolis; sister, Mrs. Thereasa Weintraut, Waldron, Ind.; stepbrothers and stepsisters, Joseph, Ralph, Mrs. Evo Kiskner and Mrs. Genevieve Lamping, Oldenburg; and Mrs. Felicia Firsich, Batesville, Ind.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 622.
Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday from St. Augustine's Church with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Williams Funeral Home until time of service.
