Margie Dewees Coleman, 76, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2011 in Pasadena, Texas. She was born March 27, 1935 in Hempstead, Texas to Alfred Leo Dewees and Louis Caroline Spoerle. She is preceeded in death by her husband of 23 years David Morrell Coleman; her sisters: Ann Davidson and Thelma Kennedy; brothers: Timothy Dewees, Alfred J Dewees and Bobby Dewees.
She is survived by her daughter, Pam Mills and husband Brian; son, Jimmy Coleman; grandchildren, Courtney and Cody Mills and Krystal and J.D. Coleman; sisters, Linda Neumann and husband Ernest and Gloria Sims; brothers Eddie Ray Dewees and Johnny Dewees.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 26, 2011 from 5-9pm at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Services will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Forest Park Lawndale's Main Chapel at 11am with interment following at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
The family would like to thank all of the staff at Pasadena Care Center for their exceptional care over the last eight years. And a special thanks to Val Hernandez for always being there when mom needed her.
